Baby Girl

(Cameron had to show us baby too!)

Baby Girl Report

Even though I don't have any pictures to post yet, Calleigh is definitely not forgotten. I am 22 weeks now and we just can't wait to meet her. We have her furniture and mom is working on her bedding. I am trying to hold off on buying too much because I know it will get out of hand. Cameron rolls cars on my belly so Calleigh can play too. She LOVES peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and occasionally feels the need to have taco bueno at 10:00 at night. (poor Chris) She moves around quite a bit now. Her movements are different than Cameron's were. Cameron was very abrupt and he kicked alot. Calleigh seems to be swimming around in there. Her movements are not abrupt and she doesn't really kick, it is move like she is gliding. I have gained more weight this time so I have officially decided to stop tracking it. I don't even look at the scale at my appointments anymore. She also doesn't allow me to sleep very well at night. I never had this problem with Cameron. She does give me energy, so I am guess she is going to be a live wire. We are having a 4D sonogram in July to see what she looks like. I will be you all informed!

Cameron was trying to hide from me. I, of course, acted like I couldn't find him, even though he was laughing the whole time. He thought it was funny!

Aren't these the cutest flip flops? Cameron did not agree. I had to coax him into these by showing him mine and dads and telling him that he had to wear them or we couldn't go bye bye. I took a picture just in case he never wears them again.

This sneaky little boy took these out of the pantry, took off the chip clip, and sat down and started eating. (all in the amount of time it takes to go get the mail)

Mama Can't Bake

Also, though you can't see it, there is a huge crack down the center where it split that I had to fill with icing.

Mama Can't Bake

This was my very sad attempt at making Chris is favorite (chocolate on chocolate) cake for father's day. The whole side fell of and it was lop-sided. This why I don't bake. This is horrible!

Playing Baseball

Already calling his shot! He tries to thrown the ball up to hit it and it is the funniest thing Chris and I have ever seen. He actually throwns the ball (not up, but out), then swings the bat, and he really thinks he hit the ball with the bat. We roll on the floor laughing. He laughs too!

Poor Fatty

Fatty is taking alot of abuse these days. I have caught Cameron pulling his ears, poking at his eyes, pulling his tail, and attempting to ride him. Fatty pretty much just sits there and takes it. He is the first one at Cameron's door in the morning when he wakes up, so I guess he doesn't get too mad.

Washing My Own Hair

Cameron likes to wash his own hair now. When he gets in the bath tub he says hair keen keen. (translation, mom I would like to wash my hair) Now I just put soap in his hair and let him go.

Cameron feeding the ducks. He was not scared at all! He wanted to put the bread in their mouths. I had to tell him to throw the bread!

Picnic

I told Cameron he could not feet the ducks (aka cack cacks) until he ate his sandwich. You can see where he went with that.

STUCK!

Fatty decided he was done playing with Cameron and that he would hide under the bed. Cameron figured that was no problem and he could get him anyway. Well, he got stuck, we heard mama dada hepp (help) and this is what we found. Two feet!

Where it all started

It is amazing to find a picture of the two of us together anymore!

Isn't this just like a man? Hand on remote, food in front, concerned look...

Name Spelling

Chris and I kinda got our wires crossed on the spelling of the baby's name. I wanted to spell it Calleigh and Chris wanted to spell it Callie. Both thinking of the other, we both chose the spelling the other wanted. Let me explain. I posted the spelling as Callie on the blog, Chris used the Calleigh spelling in his company news letter about his promotion. Once he saw it on paper he liked the Calleigh spelling, so that it is. New spelling is Calleigh and middle name is officially Nicole. (some of you might be excited to hear that i.e. Heather and Lauren) Poor baby isn't even born and we are already fussing over silly things! Typical...

We have a little change...

Chris found out the district that he will have this weekend. This district is in Austin, with a couple of stores outside of the area. We put our house on the market to move closer to his district, at some point. (for anyone that is unaware, Austin is about 75 miles south of Waco, give or take) We are really excited and the job is going well for Chris so far. He does have a big challenge ahead of him but he is ready to accept it and conquer it. Congratulations Chris!!

Kisses are pretty hard to come by these days...

Napping???

These boys were supposed to be napping and I heard alot of giggling. Turns out they were far from napping!

I give up...

I bought a basket to keep Cameron's toys in the living room but Fatty decided he wanted the basket. Cameron didn't like it but Fatty stood his ground. Those two are quite a pair now.

Cameron helped daddy grill for memorial day. Really he just got in the way but we will say he helped. He loves to watch birds so him and I sat and looked at the birds. He still thinks bird go cack cack (quack quack) even though we discuss everyday that they really say tweet tweet. Crazy kid...

Callie ??? Hooper

It looks like we have decided on a name for baby girl hooper. Callie will be her first name and her middle name is yet to be decided. We have some ideas but do not feel comfortable enough to announce. I have already bought pink pajamas and a jacket. I am trying to hold back but it is getting harder. I am 19 weeks and 1 day and am already starting to count the days. I told Cameron where Callie's room is going to be so if you ask him where Callie is he says Callie room. He still could care less about having a sister on the way. He kisses my belly sometimes and says baby sister, but he is too busy most of the time. We went to see my friend's baby in the hospital and his did try to share his car, which is a good sign!

Eating Breakfast

Mama was craving chocolate donuts and daddy thought it might be fun for Cameron to have one too!

Cameron decided my shoes would be fine for going to get breakfast with daddy. He actually tried to walk, which was hilarious! I finally went and got the poor baby some shoes after we stopped laughing.

Cooking Breakfast

I try to break the eggs even though mama said not to.
I even help cook breakfast!

The Zoo

Cameron loved the zoo! I just couldn't keep up!

All At Once

Sometimes you wait for things to happen and instead of them happening one by one, so you can take it all in, it happens all at once. This has been the story of our lives lately. We have been anticipating for weeks now finding out the sex of our baby. While waiting to find out, we almost forgot that Chris was up for a promotion, which he just got. He is now a district manager and on this way up the corporate ladder. We also found out we are having a girl on Thursday! Yea! A week before all this took place, I became my own boss! I am now working from home as a self employed contract mortgage loan processor. It is alot to happen at once, but we are counting our blessings everyday that the Lord works in such wonderful ways.
