The Trip 2011!

This spring, about April, while I was right in the middle of my most stressful time between school and work, I decided we needed a vacation. I was so busy and Chris was traveling so much I felt like we hadn't spent any quality time together. We didn't have many opportunities but we fit it in at the end of June, beginning of July. We dropped the kids off with Nana and Papa for 7 days! This was the longest I had been away from them and it was hard! Cameron was sad a few times but Calleigh barely noticed we were gone, they had a blast. We had such a great time together. We just relaxed, something neither of us are very good at. We drove to Galveston and stayed one night before leaving for a 4 day cruise to Cozumel. We had been to Cozumel twice before but we always have a great time. We rented a jeep and drove to a beach, went snorkeling, and drove around the island. We had always heard that the opposite side of the island from where we docked had big waves where people went to surf. We explored all over and it was just beautiful.

Can't wait for our next adventure together. It is times like these that I realize how lucky I am to have married my best friend. We have such a great time together and I am not sure any person could understand me more. Thanks for being an awesome husband Chris!
