Will Dance for Food
I started noticing when I give Calleigh more food she dances. I set the camera on the tray and as I am giving her more food she is dancing. She is too much!

Running like crazy....
I thought I would also update any interested parties in the progress of my challenge and running. I have made it to my goal weight, which I will not disclose, but let's just say it is what I weighed in high school. I have lost so many inches I cannot even count and I have dropped right at 2 sizes. I still love my running and the training is awesome. I will run the 10K (6.1 miles) Aug 23rd in Dallas and I am still not sure when I will take a stab at the half marathon(13.1 miles). I think sometimes I want to do it this fall, but Chris thinks I should take it show and aim for the spring. He just wants me to take it all in stride so I don't get burned out or get hurt. I know he is right, I just get too ambitious sometimes. I ran 8.5 miles on my long run last week, and I am thinking maybe this week I could push my long run to about 9.5. I am trying to increase slowly to avoid injury. I am logging around 20 miles a week right now. If I did not have kids, I think I would be obsessed with running. I just get this feeling when I am out there like no other. It is my true passion, something that is just for me and nobody else. Chris has been great thoughtout this process too. I don't know if I thank him enough, but he is great. He offers suggestions, prices running gear, and asks how my runs are. Now, rather he really wants to know or not, I tell him. He may be bored hearing it, but he actually listens and praises me. So nice to share it with someone. I honestly feel like I will one day run a marathon(26.2 miles). Some may say I am crazy...I say...probably so....
I LIKE TO EAT!
Calleigh is now completely off baby food! I started trying things here and there, and sister just went crazy. She doesn't like to eat baby food now and she does so good that I just let her go. She has also mastered the sippy cup and now she tries to steal Cameron's since he gets milk and apple juice. They always comment at moms day out how much she eats. She eats every drop of her sandwich, half sandwich with one piece of bread and no crust, all 3 of her crackers, and orange slices. They had to give her the snack I sent because she still wanted to eat. She does have two teeth now on the bottom and she sure uses them. She is in such a hurry to grow up!
:(
Ahhh, the joy of the potty...
These are pics of Cameron right after the first time he used the potty. He was excited, and a little embarrassed. Believe it or not, he has pretty much potty trained himself in a week. I have tried on and off, but he has never been interested. Last week I decided it was all or nothing. I worked with him all day on Monday, with many frustrations. By Tuesday evening, he was peeing without our guidance. He has not had an accident in a week now and yesterday he even started depositing his poop in the potty! Huge victory! I cannot believe I don't have to buy him diapers anymore. He is too cute in his little undies! Oh, and he has an obsession with washing his hands! He also likes to go in the BIG potty so he can "stand like daddy." Very messy...
Priceless
I put the kids in the bath together and while I was getting the towels and bath wash, I looked over and this is what I saw. I know I shouldn't have ran to get the camera, but it was so cute and I knew right where the camera was. They play so well together, pictures like this are priceless. Can't wait until this is part of a slide show at their weddings! Oh, nevermind, I CAN wait!!
Independence Day
I met my friend Aubrey and her daughther, Madeline, for a 4th of July celebration. There was a parade, snow cones, watermelon, hamburgers, hot dogs, and live music. It was at a park in a small town surrounding Waco. We didn't stay very long but we did manage to see a fire truck, which Cameron loved, and spill snow cone on our clothes, again Cameron. I know they have no clue what it was all for, but one day they will. That evening we grilled hamburgers with just the four of us and watched Nascar, complete with fireworks. It was nice to just hang out and relax. Hope everyone had a great 4th.

Father's Day
I know I am late on this but I am posting it anyway. When a women gets married she can only wonder what kind of father her husband will make. She doesn't expect him to be perfect, of course. But she does expect him to spend time with them, adequately provide for them, and well, to love them. It is easy to say, he will be such a good dad when you see him with other kids. Unfortuneately, the only way to know is to see him with your own. When I see Chris with our kids, sometimes I get tears in my eyes. They have so much fun that sometimes I feel like I am missing out. I get to be the "nurturing one" but daddy gets to be the "fun" one. Chris is an amazing father and I look forward to watching his relationship with our kids grow. Happy Father's Day daddy, we love you!
